BUILDING A Safe Place.
Boston’s young people need a place to call their own; a safe place to express themselves openly and freely, be with their friends, and connect with role models and mentors who truly care about their well-being. Spaces to play – no matter what the weather is outside. No matter what is happening at home.

It’s So
Much More
Impact on Children and Community.
Our neighborhoods are stronger because our young people have a place to connect with caring adults and participate in enriching programs. These connections equip children and teens with the tools they need to be successful in school, make healthy lifestyle choices, form supportive social networks, and develop leadership skills.
Families benefit. Parents juggle multiple jobs and trust the Club to provide their kids with a nutritious dinner, help them complete homework, and encourage them to explore BGCD’s enrichment activities. All of this alleviates stressors at home and contributes to a family’s economic security.
+MORE OFFERINGS, MORE IMPACT.
More than a field house. Exceptional educational and varied-interest programming with a clear focus on meaningful effect.
+IMPACTS THE WHOLE COMMUNITY.
It’s for the kids, and for all of us. The impact of this programming doesn’t stop with teens or with Dorchester. We know it radiates out to the entire community. And it’s our charge to then show other communities how it’s done.
+INCLUSION MAKES US STRONGER.
An invitation to kids and teens of every race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, and disability.
+You.
A recognition that we are in this together. That our foundational partners will build with us.
